I have an on going joke with both Anne and Donna aka Dollybeck that fine art nude is a token naked chick on a rock, and whenever I’m talking to them I ask them if they have found any nice rocks to lay on lately, (its all just for fun). So when photographer suggested that i should do a tutorial on how I would shoot fine art nude, I took up the challenge. My definition of fine art nude is emotionless shapes, gradients, highlights, shadows and tonality. I used 2 different lighting setups, 1 x 1.5m oct soft-box, Hasselblad H6D-50c | 100mm f2.2 | f8 | 1/160 | iso 100 and the last 3 images where late afternoon window light Hasselblad H6D-50c | 100mm f2.2 | f6.3 | 1/100 | iso 800.
