One evening this summer when we were in Paris, Shay called in for an editorial shoot to be submitted to some of the magazines we have been working with recently. I wanted the styling to be more relaxed and grunge to contrast against the classic Parisian feel of the apartment, and tell the story that this is Shay just lounging around in her apartment. Shay and I have been working together for years and she is an amazing model that I don’t need to direct too much – she knows how to keep moving and ‘let go’ to get some awesome candid in between shots.
